Co-Active Coaching

The co-active coaching model was developed in 1972 by Laura Whitworth and Henry Kimsey-House. Co-active coaching requires the active participation of both the coach and the client. Co-active coaching has had amazing results for thousands of people all over the world. Coaches Training Institute is where I was trained, and it was one of the first schools to be certified by the International Coaches Federation.

Coaching is a powerful relationship where the total focus is on you, on what you want in your life and on what will help you to achieve it. It is particularly helpful for people making important changes in their lives. Imagine a relationship where where someone really listens to you, not just to your words, but to what is behind them. Someone who listens to the very best in you, even when you can't hear it in yourself.

Imagine someone who will hold you accountable and keep you moving forward. Someone who is totally curious about your dreams and aspirations, what makes you tick, what you value, and what you are most passionate about in your life - a person who will help you clarify your goals and provide the tools for action and learning that lead to the results you want.

Coaching Managers and Managers-to-be

Many managers are promoted to leadership positions with little or no management training and must learn on the job. This can be frustrating to them and detrimental to their team. Even with training seminars, there is rarely follow-up, or the time to work with an experienced coach to help them "get up to speed" quickly and efficiently. Rarely does Senior management have the time or the inclination to be ongoing mentors, coaches, sounding boards or trainers. I have worked with many potential star performers to achieve their goals, gain confidence and work through difficult situations. I can help you and your team toward better productivity, better leadership and better results.
