Born in New York, I grew up in the Midwest. I was lucky to be mentored by my father in regards to ethical, honest, people centered management and leadership. His success at Dupont and General Mills proved his advice and integrity to be right. I started into business right out of college, worked for and received my MBA in management, and spent many successful years at what has become Target Corporation, and what has become CenturyLink.
I spent several years consulting with businesses after I left the corporate world and improved their operations, customer service profile, leadership and management through business analysis and streamlining. As much as I enjoyed this part of my career, I knew I was meant to have more of a long-lasting impact on the businesses I worked with. I investigated coaching, took courses, certified and realized that this is my life's work.
Coaching can change people and organizations at their core, it can allow people to develop and become who they were meant to be. Coaching has more impact on the success of organizations and the skilll and satisfaction of their people than anything else on the market today. It is customized to the individual situation, flexible, supportive allowing frank discussions, strategic and tactical help as well as a relationship that changes lives. I can't think of a better way to spend my life.
